CDO directs to investigate the issue of admitting Indians in Kailali by collecting money
Dhangadhi: Chief District Officer of Kailali, Yagya Raj Bohara, has directed to investigate the matter of admitting Indians without any security arrangements.
Prajia Bohara said that the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have been instructed to investigate the issue of admission of Indian nationals without security arrangements by the security personnel.
"The borders are closed now. The entrance has been on halt except for the Nepalis who are in trouble, ”said Prajia Bohara. I have already given necessary instructions to the Chief of Armed Police and Nepal Police to investigate the matter. '
Indian citizens have started entering Nepal from Kailali's Trinagar border under the protection of the security forces. It has been alleged that the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police are charging Rs.5,000 per person to enter.
The risk has also increased in the temporary capital of the Far-West, Dhangadhi, after Indian nationals working in various industries, garages, workshops and hair salons started entering the country without getting tested.
The government had closed the international border checkpoint in March to prevent further spread of the Coronavirus. The last cabinet meeting had decided to keep the border closed till August 16.
But in Kailali, security personnel have been accused of extorting money and admitting Indian nationals.
