3,008 people infected with Coronavirus recover in Far-West

Dhangadhi: On Wednesday, another 35  people infected with Coronavirus have been discharged from isolation centers at various hospitals and local areas in the Far-West after recovering. Narendra Karki, chief of the Health Division at the State's Social Development Ministry, said at a regular press briefing that 35 people, including 32 from Kanchanpur, two from Doti and one from Kailali, have been discharged.

At the same time, the number of people that returned home after recovering from Coronavirus has reached 3,008. According to the Ministry of Social Development, 541 people were discharged from Achham, 537 from Doti, 530 from Kailali, 481 from Kanchanpur, 299 from Baitadi and 267 from Dadeldhura, 253 from Bajura, 87 from Bajhang and 13 from Darchula. Similarly, 53 infected people of the Far-Western region are undergoing treatment at various hospitals while 1,394 are at home and at local level quarantines. There have been 9 fatalities so far.

According to the ministry, 21 people are being treated at Tikapur Hospital, 18 at Mahakali Hospital, 10 at District Hospital Achham, 2 at District Hospital Bajura and 2 at Doti. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of infected people in the Far West has reached 4,411.
