Police recovers goods worth 14 lakh from a vehicle avoiding custom fee

Goods worth Rs 14, 9900 has been recovered from a public bus Ma 1 Ch 329 and I 1 Ch 323 that was sneaking in clothes and electric lights by avoiding custom tax in Bhimdatta Municipality. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa, a team from the District Police Office recovered the goods on the basis of a special tip-off.

The driver of the vehicle along with the goods has been handed over to the Gaddachauki Customs Office for necessary action, police said. The goods were recovered from Bhimdatta Municipality Ward no. 4 of the district.
