938 people discharged from various hospitals in Far-West

938 people infected with Coronavirus have been discharged from various hospitals in Far-West. Narendra Karki, chief of the regional Health Division, affirmed that 904 people infected with the virus were discharged on Tuesday. On Friday, 30 people were discharged from Achham, 3 from Kailali, and 1 from Kanchanpur. According to him, the highest number of people have been discharged from Baitadi.  

252 people were discharged from Baitadi, 188 from Dadeldhura, 157 from Doti, 103 from Kanchanpur and 99 from Kailali, 90 from Achham, 34 from Bajhang, 13 from Darchula and 2 from Bajura. Most of them were admitted for 14 days and were discharged thereafter, as they exhibited no symptoms of Coronavirus, the ministry said. Many of them also recovered from the virus before getting discharged.

Currently, 101 infected people are being treated at various hospitals in Far-West. While about 2090 infected people are either practicing self-isolation at home or are admitted to different quarantine centers. According to the ministry, 42 people are being treated at Tikapur Hospital, 20 at Malakheti Hospital, 18 at Mahakali Hospital, nine at Seti Hospital, 10 at Achham Hospital, and 2 each at Doti and Bajura Hospitals.

Eight people died due to Coronavirus in Far-West. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of infected people in Far-West has exceeded 3,800.
