Due to the risk of corona virus, Nepalese citizen entering the country from Trinagar customs border of Kailali is underway.

Shivraj Joshi, Information Officer of the District Administration Office in Kailali, said that Nepalese are continuing to enter the country from different cities of India. He said that a total of 86,500 people have entered the country through the customs checkpoint so far, "Even though the number of Nepalese entering the country from June 26 to 27 has been high, the number of Nepalese entering the country is declining," he said.

The statistics show that up to 6,000 people entered from the same checkpoint in a single day, it is estimated that the number of entrants may be low as they have the opportunity to work in India. Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis has continued to collect swabs for PCR testing.

It is said that swabs are being collected from different quarantine centres of different wards at the Municipal Health Promotion Center.

Mayor Nripa Bahadur Wad said that the sub-metropolitan government keeps those who test positive for corona while they are in isolation, "Our demand from the beginning is to increase the scope of PCR testing," he said.

Narayan Prasad Baral, coordinator of the sub-metropolitan COVID-19 sub-committee, said that the PCR test of many people could not be done due to the lack of kits. Health Officer Laxmi Raj Upadhyaya said that swabs of 65 people in different quarantines would be collected.
