Man dies in Dhangadhi after being refused treatment by hospitals

76- year- old Janaklal Bhatta of Godawari Municipality Ward No. 2 died on Wednesday as he was denied medical treatment. Bhatta was rushed to Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi at around 11:30 pm. Hemraj Bhatt, a relative of the patient, said, “Uncle was taken to the hospital at 11:30 pm but the hospital refused to admit him. Since a staff was an inhabitant of Tegari he conducted a health check and said that he suffered from respiratory problems and suggested that he should be placed on a ventilator. But we lost him as no hospital agreed to admit him.” According to Hemraj Bhatta, they also requested the director of Nisarga Private Hospital to admit him but were denied help. Therefore he was taken home where he died within 10 minutes.
