Ward member arrested on rape charges

Elected member of ward no. 2 of Triveni municipality has been arrested on the charge of rape.

Lal Bahadur Budha was arrested on March 12 following a complaint by a local woman, according to police inspector Dan Bahadur Rokaya.

The incident took place on March 5 and the woman filed the complaint after seven days of the incident, police said. The necessary investigation is underway. (RSS)
