Yogesh Bhattarai inaugurates The Far-West Industrial Trade Fair, Tikapur

Addressing the inaugural function of The Far-West Industrial Trade Fair organised in Tikapur, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Yogesh Bhattarai said " The Tikapur incident (Resham Chaudhary case) is a political event because of some elements played by it. The government is sensitive towards the victim's families. While the victim's families should try and move on by forgetting the past." While Mr. Ram Bahadur Bhandari, president of the Tikapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and an organizer of the fair, demanded the restoration of the Tikapur airport. Minister Bhattarai has promised to send an immediate technical team to study the reconstruction of the currently closed Tikapur Airport.
