Community Development Center Doti Provides Rs 62,603 to Bhotekoshi Flood Victims
Doti: The Community Development Center (CDC) Doti has provided financial assistance for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district.
The Rs 62,603 voluntarily collected by office bearers and employees of CDC Doti’s working committee has been deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
CDC Doti expressed grief over the significant loss of life and property and damage to physical infrastructure caused by the floods, while extending condolences to the bereaved families. It also prayed for the speedy recovery of those affected and injured and for their return to normal life.
The organization urged the concerned authorities to use the collected assistance effectively and transparently for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of flood-affected citizens.
CDC Doti expressed solidarity with the affected community during this difficult time of national disaster and called on organizations, the private sector, civil society, development partners and the general public to support and further strengthen the spirit of humanitarian assistance, cooperation and service.
