Dhangadhi government team welcomed in Bajura after Badimalika pilgrimage

Dhangadhi: The Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City government team that traveled to the famous religious and tourist destination Badimalika Temple in Bajura for worship has been welcomed in Bajura.

Badimalika Municipality organized a formal welcome program for the Dhangadhi team at the district headquarters, Martadi, on Saturday.

Speaking at the program, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City Mayor Gopal Hamal emphasized the need for collective efforts to promote and protect Badimalika and other religious and tourist destinations across Sudurpaschim Province.

Badimalika Municipality Mayor Amar Bahadur Khadka expressed confidence that the ‘Our Far West, We Introduce You’ campaign launched by Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City would highlight the province’s economic, social, cultural and geographical identity and make a significant contribution to the development of the entire Far West.

Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City has been continuing the Badimalika pilgrimage, which is linked to religious, tourism and cultural traditions, since last year. As part of the same campaign, the sub-metropolitan city has sent a government team to Badimalika this year as well.

The government team left for Badimalika from Martadi, the district headquarters, on Saturday. The team’s pilgrimage to Badimalika is expected to further contribute to the promotion of religious tourism and important religious and tourist destinations in the Far West.
