Case filed against health post in-charge for assaulting employee

Dhangadhi: A case has been filed against Suman Luhar, in-charge of Kotila Health Post in Purchaudi-7, Baitadi, for allegedly assaulting Anami Maya Bhatta. The incident occurred on Adalat Road in Dhangadhi-1 on Sunday.

Bhatta, who was working at Luhar’s office, sustained injuries to her head and hands after being struck with a brick, according to reports.

Following the incident, Luhar was arrested and is currently in the custody of Kailali police. DSP Yogendra Timilsina, spokesperson for Kailali police, stated that the victim had also filed a complaint accusing Luhar of attempted murder.

"A case has been registered against Luhar under murder charges. The court has extended the investigation period, and necessary inquiries are underway," DSP Timilsina confirmed.
