Pralopa candidate Dependra Bahadur Shahi joins NCP in Kanchanpur-1
Kanchanpur: Dependra Bahadur Shahi, the Progressive Democratic Party (Pralopa) candidate in Kanchanpur constituency number 1, has joined the Nepali Communist Party (NCP). Shahi, along with Pralopa’s Kanchanpur district chief Amarsingh Bista and 54 leaders and activists, officially became members of the NCP.
Shahi, who unveiled his election manifesto at a press conference in Belauri on February 20, left Pralopa and joined the NCP three days later. Both Shahi and Bista had previously served as central members of Pralopa.
Following their entry into the NCP, Shahi and the other leaders and activists pledged to actively support the campaign to secure victory for female leader Bina Magar.
