Local leadership key to development, says Nar Narayan Shah in Kailali-5 campaign

Dhangadhi: Nar Narayan Shah, candidate for the House of Representatives from Constituency No. 5, has intensified his election campaign through door-to-door outreach across villages, settlements, and market areas. Meeting voters directly, he emphasized that collective support and cooperation are essential for the overall development of the region.

During his interactions, Shah delivered the central message that “we must build our region ourselves,” reaffirming his commitment to prioritizing development, employment, education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure. He stated that he is fully aware of the region’s problems, possibilities, and needs and pledged to move forward with a planned approach.

Shah also expressed the view that meaningful development can only be achieved by someone who understands the region’s geography and challenges. “Only a person who understands the geography of this region, its problems, and its needs can bring about real development,” he said, adding that an outsider cannot grasp the sensitivities and requirements of the area as deeply. He urged voters to choose a capable and qualified candidate who truly understands their region.

During discussions, voters from Kailali Constituency No. 5 highlighted road upgrading, irrigation systems, job creation, quality education, and the expansion of health services as their primary demands. They suggested that Shah design programs based on local needs and public sentiment.

Responding to the concerns, Shah said he would incorporate the suggestions into his action plan and pledged to work toward transforming the entire region if entrusted with public support. He also clarified that his goal is to develop Kailali Constituency No. 5 into a model region through cooperation among all parties, communities, and social groups.
