Nepal Army bus accident in Bhojpur leaves 24 injured

Bhojpur: A bus carrying soldiers of the Srinath Battalion, en route to Temkemaiyung to establish a base camp for election security, was involved in an accident in Bhojpur.

Police reported that the bus, bearing registration number Na. 4 Kha 7317, fell approximately 500 meters off the road in the Seti Bagar area of Bhojpur Municipality-4, Dawan.

A total of 24 people were injured in the incident. According to DSP Raju Lama, Chief of the District Police Office, Bhojpur, there were 26 individuals on the bus, including one soldier and one army employee.

Police stated that nine of the injured are in critical condition, and two helicopters have been deployed to transport them to Kathmandu for further treatment. The remaining injured are in stable condition and are receiving care at Bhojpur Hospital.
