Bajura locals surrender 26 weapons ahead of elections

Bajura: In compliance with directives from the District Administration Office, residents of Bajura have surrendered a total of 26 weapons and ammunition to authorities. The surrender was part of preparations to ensure a fair, fearless, and peaceful election scheduled for Falgun 21.

Chief District Officer Dorendra Niraula confirmed that 26 homemade weapons were handed over to the Police Office and administration from various parts of the district within the designated timeframe.

The District Administration Office had issued a public notice on Poush 29, 2082, instructing individuals to surrender all weapons, licensed or unlicensed, within 15 days in preparation for the upcoming election.
