Sudurpaschim government announces relief for Baitadi bus accident victims

Dhangadhi: The Sudurpaschim Province government has decided to provide Rs 100,000 each to the families of those who lost their lives in a bus accident in Baitadi. The provincial government has also decided to bear all treatment expenses of the injured while they are receiving treatment at government hospitals.

The decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah on Friday. On Thursday, a bus carrying a family from Baitadi to Bajhang met with an accident in Badgaun, Purchaundi Municipality-7. The death toll from the accident has reached 13, while 35 injured individuals are receiving treatment at various hospitals.
