Motorcycle collision with cyclist in Attariya leaves one dead, two injured

Dhangadhi: A 45-year-old man died after a motorcycle struck a bicycle on a six-lane road in the Manahara area of Godavari Municipality-1 on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Gopal Rana.

The motorcycle involved in the accident, bearing registration number Sup Pra 01011 Pa 8585, was being driven by 23-year-old Nablu Rana of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-5. The pillion rider, Manuraj Rana, 23, of Krishnapur Municipality-6, was also injured in the incident.

Both injured youths are undergoing treatment at Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi. According to the police, the accident occurred when a motorcycle traveling from Dhangadhi towards Attariya hit the cyclist while he was crossing the road.
