Dadeldhura extends election police recruitment deadline by two days due to low applications

Dadeldhura: The District Administration Office in Dadeldhura has extended the deadline for election police recruitment by two days after the required number of applications was not received.

Originally set to close on Magh 1, the application period has been extended following low applicant turnout between Poush 25 and Magh 1. The recruitment aims to ensure that the upcoming House of Representatives elections on Falgun 21 are conducted in a free, fair, fear-free, and peaceful environment.

According to the district administration, a total of 944 election police personnel were required in Dadeldhura. As of Magh 1, only 807 people had applied, leaving a shortfall of 137 applications, prompting the extension of the deadline.
