Stricter border checks implemented at Kailali crossings

Dhangadhi: Security checks have been intensified at the Kailali border crossings with India.

The District Administration Office, Kailali, issued a notice on Wednesday stating that monitoring has been strengthened at all border points in the district.

Shivaraj Joshi, Administrative Officer of the office, said that security agencies have tightened checks to prevent unidentified suspicious individuals or groups from entering the district illegally. The office has also urged residents to immediately inform the nearest security authorities if they notice any suspicious individuals or groups entering the area.

The notice further instructs the public not to allow such unidentified individuals or groups to reside in their homes or communities, nor to engage them in any work.
