Young man distributes educational materials to 60 students on his birthday in Baitadi

Baitadi: On the occasion of his birthday, Pradeep Joshi of Baim, Ward No. 7, Dilasaini Rural Municipality, distributed paper and pens to 60 students of Amar Secondary School.

Joshi explained that, observing the growing trend of cutting cakes and eating meat during birthdays, he chose to provide educational materials to children from underprivileged families as a way to convey that such practices are not part of their tradition.

“The idea of doing something meaningful on birthdays came to me. I provided paper and pens to the children to send a message that one should avoid unnecessary spending while celebrating birthdays,” Joshi said.
