Basar Youth club leads cleanup at Budar waterfall in Doti
Dhangadhi: Members of the Basar Youth Club from Chure Rural Municipality-3, Kailali, have carried out a cleanup at Budar Waterfall in Jorayal Rural Municipality, Doti, as part of their initiative to maintain the area’s natural beauty.
The club members, who had visited the Budar Waterfall, Chhatibon Lake, and nearby religious sites during Dashain, voluntarily joined the cleanup upon noticing garbage around the waterfall. The initiative was conducted with the message “Let’s clean up our own garbage” to encourage visitors to keep this site of religious and tourist importance clean.
The Basar Youth Club has been actively contributing to the development and promotion of the village through agriculture, tourism, and sports in the Chure area. Club President Ganesh Deuba stated, “We are not only trying to clean up, but also to highlight the potential and beauty of Chure to everyone.” He added that the club is committed to continuing such positive campaigns in the future.
