Chief Minister Shah orders preparation of expenditure cut details

Dhangadhi: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has instructed secretaries of thematic ministries to prepare detailed reports on expenditure cuts.

The directive was issued during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shah today, which was attended by ministers and secretaries of the concerned ministries. According to the Chief Minister’s Press and Public Relations Advisor, Dammar Bam, the instruction comes in the wake of significant damage to provincial infrastructure caused by the Genji movement. He said the provincial government had already decided to reduce expenditures to ensure ministries operate more economically.

Chief Minister Shah also directed officials to expedite the repair of damaged physical infrastructure and restore public services at the earliest. Several offices have yet to fully resume operations, though some have begun service delivery alongside repair works.
