Two arrested with heroin in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have arrested two individuals with drugs in Kanchanpur.

Based on a confidential tip-off, police detained the suspects on Tuesday evening around 6 pm while they were allegedly consuming drugs inside a public toilet at Buspark, Bhimdatta Municipality-4. The arrested have been identified as Chandra Chand (24) of Krishnapur Municipality-2 and Dhan Bahadur Bag (27) of Bungal Municipality-10, Bajhang.

Police recovered 860 milligrams of brown heroin from their possession. A team from the temporary police post at Buspark has taken them into custody along with the seized drugs, and further investigation is underway.
