Customs evasion goods worth Rs 161,000 seized in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have seized goods worth an estimated Rs 161,000 that were illegally imported from India by evading customs.

The seizure was made from different areas of the district, including Belauri-3 Bandhatal and Punarbas-11 Tauke Bazaar. According to police, the confiscated items include sugar, bidis, cigarettes, boiler chicken, two motorcycles, and other goods.

A patrol team deployed from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, took the items under control.
