Fugitive Accused in Vehicular Homicide Case Apprehended in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Authorities in Kanchanpur have successfully apprehended a fugitive accused linked to a vehicular homicide case. Karan Chand, 51, a resident of Bhimdatta Municipality-6 Sukasal in Kanchanpur, evading authorities since his sentencing of 2 months and 8 days in prison along with a fine of 70,000, has been detained by a police team dispatched from the District Police Office Kanchanpur.

Chand had been on the run following the verdict delivered by the Kanchanpur district court on January 8, 2080. Deputy Superintendent of Police Umeshraj Joshi, Spokesperson of District Police Office Kanchanpur, confirmed Chand's arrest and subsequent submission to the court for fulfillment of his sentence.
