Former Nepali Army Colonel Suvarna Bista Passes Away

Dhangadhi: The Nepali Army community is saddened by the news of the passing of former pilot and retired colonel, Suvarna Bista, whose roots trace back to Kalagaon of Purchaudi in Baitadi, Far West.

Colonel Bista, residing in Kathmandu, breathed his last today (Friday) due to a heart attack. He had driven himself to the hospital earlier in the morning, but unfortunately succumbed to his condition.

Widely recognized as one of the distinguished senior pilots from the Far West region of Nepal, Colonel Bista held the esteemed rank of Senior Captain Retired General (Full Colonel) within the Nepali Army.

It is reported that the final rites for Colonel Suvarna Bista will be conducted tonight at the Pashupati Aryaghat.

The passing of Colonel Bista leaves a significant void within the Nepali Army community, as he is remembered for his dedicated service and invaluable contributions to the nation.
