Drug Bust in Dhangadhi: Suspect Apprehended with Significant Hashish Haul

Dhangadhi: In a successful operation, the Sudurpaschim Province Investigation Group (RIT) has apprehended a 40-year-old individual, Dhan Bahadur Bohara, from Bitthadchir Rural Municipality-2 in Bajhang, for alleged drug possession. The arrest took place at the traffic intersection of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city.

The District Police Office, Kailali, reported the recovery of one kilogram and 42 grams of hashish from Bohara. The illicit substance was concealed in Katun on a motorcycle bearing the registration Sudurpaschim Pradesh 04001 P 1467, which Bohra was operating at the time of his arrest.

Bohara is now in police custody, and further investigations are underway to ascertain the details of the drug-related activities. The successful operation underscores law enforcement's commitment to curbing the illegal drug trade and maintaining public safety in the region.
