Pregnant Woman Airlifted by Helicopter for Urgent Medical Care in Bajura
Bajura: A Nepali Army helicopter was deployed for the urgent rescue of a pregnant woman in Bajura.
Seema, a 30-year-old resident of Badimalika Municipality-6, Kordha, was airlifted from District Hospital Bajura due to complications in her pregnancy. Nripraj Giri, the Information Officer at District Hospital Bajura, explained that the extended delivery time posed risks, leading to complications where the baby became lodged in the uterus.
Acting Chief District Officer Ramkumar Timalsina revealed that the District Administration Office Bajura received a rescue request from the hospital as the situation became critical. Subsequently, the administration dispatched a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs, facilitating the urgent helicopter rescue operation conducted by NA9 of the Nepali Army.
