Journalist Sarita Kathayat Extends Financial Aid to Mashta Gurukul Vidya Ashram in Doti on Her Birthday
Dhangadhi: Celebrating her birthday with a noble gesture, Doti-based journalist Sarita Kathayat has provided crucial financial support to Shree Mashta Gurukul Vidya Ashram. The ashram is located in Shikhar Municipality, Ward No. 6, within the district.
On this occasion, Kathayat contributed a sum of 4,155 rupees to Mashta Gurukul Vidya Ashram, earmarked specifically for the provision of meals. Currently, the ashram accommodates 16 students and was established in 2075. The operational expenses, including food and other necessities for the students, have been sustained through financial assistance from local authorities and various individuals. A notable challenge faced by the ashram is the limited financial resources, resulting in the presence of only one teacher.
Highlighting the current staffing situation, Kathayat emphasized that the ashram is currently managed by one dedicated teacher and one office assistant. The owner, Dhurvaraj Phulara, reiterated that the ashram is committed to promoting religious traditions, encompassing rites, culture, religion, and Veda Vidya. Kathayat's contribution is anticipated to provide valuable support in furthering the ashram's mission and ensuring the well-being of its students.
