Cancer Screening Camp Scheduled at Urma in Dhangadhi Ward 16 on January 6th
Dhangadhi: In collaboration with the Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan municipality and Sushil Koirala Prakhar Cancer Hospital, Khajura, Banke, a significant health initiative is set to unfold in Ward No. 16 of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city.
A dedicated cancer screening health camp is scheduled to take place at Urma Health Post on Saturday, the 6th of January, from 10 am to 4 pm. Yogesh Awasthi, the Head of the Health Branch, has confirmed the partnership between the municipal authorities and the renowned cancer hospital to conduct this vital health camp.
Individuals either grappling with cancer or harboring suspicions of its presence are earnestly encouraged to partake in the comprehensive check-ups offered at the camp. Recognizable symptoms such as painless lumps in the breast or other regions, breast enlargement, persistent non-healing wounds, indigestion, difficulty swallowing, chronic cough or hoarseness, excessive bleeding or pus discharge from extremities, and alterations in stool or urine patterns are among the indicators prompting this health initiative.
Mayor Gopal Hamal extends a sincere appeal to the community, urging those experiencing such symptoms to avail themselves of the services rendered at the upcoming cancer screening camp. The initiative underscores the commitment to early detection and proactive healthcare within the community.
