Police Confiscate Illegal Goods Valued at 2 Lakh in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Law enforcement authorities in Kanchanpur have successfully intercepted and seized illicit merchandise with an estimated value of around two lakhs. The operation, conducted in Bhimdatta Municipality-6 Aithpur, led to the discovery and confiscation of items valued at 1 lakh 83 thousand 760, including goods involved in customs evasion such as shoes, fabric, ladies bags, slippers, among others, found abandoned at the location.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dangi, serving as the spokesperson for the District Police Office in Kanchanpur, disclosed that the confiscated items have been promptly forwarded to the Customs Office Gaddachouki for further investigation and necessary legal proceedings.
