Authorities Confiscate 150 kg of Illegally Imported Fish from India in Kanchanpur
Kanchanpur: In a significant operation, the Belauri Municipal Police Office Belauri successfully intercepted and seized 150 kg of illegally imported fish from India in Ramnagar, Belauri Municipality-5, on Thursday.
The confiscated fish, valued at approximately 45,000 rupees, was apprehended during a proactive operation by law enforcement. Following standard procedures, the seized fish and related items were subsequently disposed of at the Quarantine Check Post in Belauri, in collaboration with the Belauri Udyog Banijya Sangha and with the involvement of local residents.
