Dadeldhura Jail Releases Three Prisoners on Republic Day

Dadeldhura: On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, three prisoners were granted their freedom from Dadeldhura Jail. The release included two male prisoners and one female prisoner.

The decision to grant the prisoners early release was made by the Council of Ministers, following a proposal from the Ministry of Home Affairs, which recommended the waiving of the remaining portion of their prison sentences. This privilege was granted to those prisoners who had already served at least 50% of their original sentence.

Jailer Jitendra Ojha confirmed that the individuals released consisted of a woman convicted in a case related to duty killing, a man involved in a vehicular homicide case, and another man charged with drug theft.
