CPN-UML member Lakshmi Shah joins Nepali Congress
Dhangadhi: CPN-UML Central Disciplinary Commission member Lakshmi Shah has joined the Congress. She entered the party at a program organized on Tuesday at the private residence of Prime Minister and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Dhangadhi.
She said that she left the party because the politics of individualism and prohibition are becoming dominant in UML and young people who have the desire to do something are not getting opportunities. She has been in politics for a long time in the CPN-Maoist Center. She remained in the UML after the dissolution of the 'NCP Communist Party' which was formed by the unity between the then CPN-UML and the CPN-Maoist Center on 3 Jeth 2075.
Shah has been raising her voice in favor of the poor and backward citizens of Far-West.
