UML helping landslide victims of Achham
Dhangadhi: UML has helped the landslide victims of Achham. On Saturday, the party will distribute relief to the flood victims in Kamalbazar Municipality, Turmakhad Rural Municipality and Dhakari Rural Municipality and help in building houses that need to be rebuilt immediately.
On Saturday, the party handed over 1 lakh at the rate of Rs. 50,000 to Indra Kami and Nam Kami who lost their houses in Ward No. 6 of Kamalbazar Municipality. Rs. 50,000 has been handed over to Gopale Damai, father of the deceased Gambhir Damai of Kamalbazar Municipality Ward No. 8, for the reconstruction of his house.
Similarly, relief has been distributed to the relatives of the deceased in Turmakhand Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 Nada. Party Secretary Bhim Bahadur Rawal said that Rupendra Shahi, who lost his mother, father and sister, has been handed over Rs. 50,000, while Rithe Shahi, who has lost a relative, has also been handed over Rs. 50,000.
He said that CPN-UML Achham collected Rs. 420,500 from Awadh leaders and workers in various organizations of the party and handed over the relief to the landslide victims in all the 3 municipalities of the district.
