A fine of 4.5 lakhs was imposed on the former mayoral candidate of Bajura

Bajura: A fine of 4.5 lakhs has been imposed on the former candidate for Budhinanda municipality chief of Bajura who did not vote for himself in the local elections.

Bir Bahadur Rokaya, who did not get a single vote in the election, has been fined by the Election Commission for not providing details of expenses of his campaign.

The Commission has imposed a fine of Rs. 450,000 for not providing details of expenses of his campaign.
