Dr. KC's health is degrading: Seti Hospital

Dhangadhi: Medical education reformer Dr. Govind KC's health condition has degraded. KC, who has been on a hunger strike for the 20th time in Dhangadhi since last Monday, was admitted to Seti Provincial Hospital after his condition worsened. The hospital said that his health is in a serious condition. According to the hospital, because KC has written in writing not to give him water orally and nutrients through his veins, the nutritional element is decreasing in the body.

The hospital has informed that KC's weight has decreased by 2 kg. He is also suffering from headache, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest pain, body muscle pain, and increased heart rate.

In a statement issued by the hospital it is stated that 'imbalance of nutrients and water in the body may cause fainting, tremors (seizures), decreased ability to fight disease and various infections, increase of heart rate, difficulty breathing,blood pressure may be disturbed, organs and systems may be damaged' KC is currently being treated at the hospital under the close supervision of doctors.
