3 people accused of corruption along with the former principal of a school in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: A special court has convicted 3 people including Govindraj Ojha, the then headmaster of Behdaba Mavi in Kailali, in a corruption case. On Monday, along with Ojha, the management committee chairman of the same school Darwari Rana and accountant Gopal Setty were also found guilty of imprisonment and fine.
The bench of special committee chairman Shrikant Paudel and two members Ramesh Kumar Pokharel and Balbhadra Bastola gave a verdict in this case. "All three of them have been sentenced to 6-6 months in prison and will be fined," said Dipendranath Yogi, the spokesperson of the Special. It has been decided to pay them Rs 3 lakh 25 thousand 992 per person.
It is mentioned in the allegation letter that without informing the relevant authorities of the teachers who have been absent from the school since 2070 BS, on the contrary, they filled the demand form in the name of the absent teacher and took the payment of salary until May 2073 BS.
Similarly, it was the conclusion of the authority that principal Ojha and other persons were found guilty of purchasing school supplies and disbursing money by making false bills without spending money on the topics specified by the school.
