Baitadi: In Baitadi, the police has started a cannbis extermination campaign. With the arrival of DSP Prem Bahadur Shahi as the new police chief in the district, the cannbis extermination campaign has been started.

Since marijuana is a drug, it is said that a campaign to uproot cannabis plants has been started to stop its use and trade. So far, the police have said that cannabis plants have been destroyed in various places of Surnaya Rural Municipality, Shivnath Rural Municipality, Melauli Municipality and Patan Municipality.
