Dhangadhi: Dilip Bista, who was arrested and later realeased on the charge of murdering Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur 4 years ago, has been reported in various media saying that he abused the girl.

According to the local media there, he has been accused of molesting a teenage girl near the place where Panta's body was found. According to the media, on 26 July, 2018(Shrawan 10, 2075), near the place where the body of the 13-year-old girl Pant was found, Bista had molested a girl studying in Class 12 at Mahendra High School. On 28 July, 2018(Shrawan 12th, 2075) reports are coming quoting the statement of the victim that Bista molested the student in a culvert about 70 meters away from where Nirmala's bicycle was found.

But District Police Office Kanchanpur Police Chief SP Shyam Chaudhary has claimed that he has not received any information about the incident. He said that the police did not even receive information about the incident, far from the complaint. Police Chief SP Shyam Chaudhary says, "That person (Dilip Bista) is under suspicion from earlier. He is such a person. Our teams are engaged in research. We are looking at it from different angles.

But there is no information that he has misbehaved. The media is putting on the police coat and writing itself." Similarly, Kanchanpur Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Shahi has also said that no application has been received against Dilip. He has claimed that despite various reports in the media, no information has come to the police. Bista, who was accused of abusing the girl, was arrested by the police as he was involved in the rape and murder of Nirmala Pant. A special team under the command of DSP Angur Jisi from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) concluded that the rape and murder of Pant was done by Bista.

Later, he was discharged after testing the DNA of the semen extracted from Nirmalas vaginal swab.
