Skeleton of a child who was reported missing two months ago found in Bajhang

Bajhang: A child who had been missing for 2 months has been found dead in Bajhang. The skeleton of the child who was reported missing since May 28 has been found. The skeleton of Dharen Shahi, a 9-year-old son of Mahesh Shahi of Kailash village, Jayaprithvi Municipality-1 of the district, was found after 2 months.

Dharen, who had gone to the forest to graze cattle, disappeared from the forest of Masta rural municipality-1. The young boy's skull and bones have been found in Jayaprithvi Municipality along with his clothes.

Relatives of the deceased informed that the body was identified on the basis of his clothes that were found near the skeleton. A woman who had gone to cut grass spotted the skeleton and informed the police. Police inspector Janak Dhungana, spokesperson of District Police Office Bajhang, said that an investigation is being carried out to find the reason behind the child's death.

Since the skeleton was found long after the disappearance, the cause of death has not been revealed.
