More than 55,000 spent on lunch and stationery for online training in Dadeldhura
Dhangadhi: Parashuram Municipality of Dadeldhura has spent more than Rs. 55,000 on food and training material in online training. In the report released recently by the Office of the Auditor General, the municipality mentioned the details of such expenses in the log book (Peshki Fachkhut) under the name of Ramesh Bahadur Saud.
According to Rule 37(3) of the Financial Procedure Rules of Sudurpaschim Province, 2076, there is a provision to keep other proof including bill payment when paying government funds. According to the Auditor General's office, it was found that Saud had submitted flex banners, diaries and pens, pen drives, lunch and food bills to the municipality during the online training.
Saud has spent Rs. 69,200 on online training, Rs. 1,500 worth of flex banners, Rs. 8,835 worth of diary and pen, Rs. 12,000 worth of pen drives and Rs. 46,845 worth of food, the municipality has paid accordingly.
