A serpent spotted in Godavari worshiped by the locals

A serpent was found in a local’s house in Godavari Municipality, Ward no. 9, Kailali. The locals began to worship the serpent as god at 9 am in the morning on Friday. The locals placed the serpent under a Ficus religiosa (Peepal tree) and started chanting and singing. Mr. Jagri was sleeping after finishing his daily chores when he dreamt about a serpent and woke up to his daughter- in- law screaming in pain after the serpent bit her.
