A motorcyclist flees after hitting a cyclist in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A motorcyclist ran away after hitting a cyclist in Kanchanpur. Rajkumar Chaudhary, 32 years old who was riding a bicycle was hit by a motorcycle without a number plate in Belauri Municipality-5 Mainaha of the district.

According to the police, he was going from Bhurakot to Mainaha on Saturday when he was hit by the motorcycle behind him. Choudhary and his 7-year-old son were injured in the collision, the police said.

Chaudhary is being treated at Ishan Memorial Hospital in Belauri and his son has been brought to Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment, State Traffic Police Office Attaria said. The search for the absconding motorcyclist is said to be underway.
