Darchula: Darchula teacher Ram Singh Dhami is being charged for rape. He was arrested on May 24 on charges of raping his own student. While sending video footage of the victory rally, he accidentally sent his own 'porn video'.

The video was of a 17-year-old girl from the village. After this, Purna Singh forwarded the same video to other youths of the village. The girl's father had lodged a complaint with the police on May 25 regarding the rape case after the video beacme public.

The District Public Prosecutor's Office, Darchula, has registered a case of rape in the district court on Tuesday on the basis of the investigation report submitted by the police.

However, in the indictment, the accused Ram Singh has mentioned that the act was committed by consent and not by force. He also said that the 'porn video' was taken with consent. Ram Singh has said that he has a love affair with the girl. He has given a statement that physical contact was consensual during the meeting.

On the other hand, the girl said that Ram Singh dragged her away and raped her while she was carrying manure in the field.
