Siege of Dhangadhi Electricity Office

Dhangadhi: Locals have cordoned off the office of Nepal Electricity Authority Dhangadhi Distribution Center after irregular power cuts. Locals of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 12 surrounded the office on Monday afternoon.

They demanded removal of Pahalmanpur, Pavera and Hasulia grid lines and connection of lines from Dhangadhi, provision of 24 hours no light service in the ward, provision of transformers to solve the problem of voltage in the ward, provision of poles and wires and provision of agricultural meters.

Locals have warned to hold other struggle programs if their demands are not met as soon as possible.
