Electricity service in Dasharathchanda of Baitadi has been disrupted for three days

Dhangadhi: Electricity service has been disrupted in Dasharathchanda Municipality of Baitadi. Electricity service has been disrupted for three days after a power pole broke in Gurukhola, Janambar-1.

Mahadev Bhatta, a local of Gurukhola, who is also the CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman, has cut down a tree on his own land hitting and the electricity pole causing the power outage. Electricity has been disrupted at various places in Dasharathchanda-1, 2 and Surnaya Rural municipality-1 due to broken power poles.

It is said that Radio Ningalasheni has to be operated from a generator due to a broken electricity pole. Socialist president Bhatta said that he was worried about the wind falling on the pole while cutting down the tree for firewood. Supervisor Madhav Lekhak of Nepal Electricity Authority Baitadi said that work is underway to make the electricity service smooth by burying new poles.
