The 112th International Women's Day being celebrated in Bajura
Dhangadhi: The 112th International Women's Day is being celebrated in Bajura. The day is celebrated under the slogan 'Women's Security, Respect and Employment: The Basis of Prosperous Nepal'. In the morning procession, slogans such as "Let's end violence against women, women should be equal to men, women should be appointed to higher posts, and end the practice of chaupadi" were carried.
Starting from the open platform, the program has been concluded by holding a corner meeting at Loktantrik Chowk in Martadi. The program was attended by Chief District Officer Upendra Raj Poudel, Deputy Chief of Badimalika Municipality Kavita Bisht, Chairperson of Community Police Service Center Bajura Kalche Damai, District Police Office, Women's Development Forum, various organizations raising voice for women's rights in the district and civic leaders.
