Patan Municipality observes black day to mour the death of a student

Baitadi: The Patan Municipality of Baitadi has given mourning leave after the death of students in a tipper accident. The municipality has given mourning leave on Tuesday after three students, including a local, were killed in a tipper accident at Patan Municipality-3, Jhalimali on Monday.

Acting Chief Administrative Officer of Patan Municipality Rajendra Prasad Bhat said that all the educational institutions in the city will be closed today. A tipper (Ba 3 Kha 4879) heading towards Patan from Patan Municipality Ward No. 3 Guruda had met with an accident on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Gyanu Bista, Lalit Awasthi and Rajesh Raj Pant. Similarly, 45-year-old Janak Raj Pant of Patan Municipality-3 also died on the spot.
