Oxygen plant istalled at District Hospital Bajura

Bajura: Oxygen plant has been connected in District Hospital Bajura.

Dr. Prakash Raj Joshi, office chief of District Hospital Bajura, said that the plant came into operation after the installation. He said that the hospital had planned to connect the plant in June but the connection was delayed due to problems in transportation due to rains.

The budget for the establishment of the oxygen plant was Rs. 8.5 million from the Far-Western Provincial Government and Rs. 7.5 million from the Federal Government. As there was no oxygen plant in the district, people had to go to Dhangadhi and Nepalgunj.

According to Bajura Hospital, the establishment of an oxygen plant in the district has helped in the treatment of the third wave of Coronavirus.
